Thermal Imaging
SeeMore Wildlife Systems, in partnership with Thermal Eye, has developed the world’s first remote thermal imaging system for wildlife. Thermal imaging enables you to observe wildlife in a complete absence of light. The camera requires no infrared emitters, and thermal imaging can even see wildlife through foliage.

With a Thermal Imaging camera you can capture images you would otherwise miss with a visible light camera. The Thermal Eye technology reads the heat signature of your animals and converts it to a visible representation for your TV monitor. Click on the images below to see a movie clip and a larger example of some imagery captured of Steller sea lions in Resurrection Bay, Alaska.

Our ruggedized camera housing enables us to place these cameras in virtually any location you want to monitor wildlife, providing reliable thermal imaging in a pan and tilt housing with a wiper and washer.

Prototype Thermal Camera Housing
SeeMore's chief mechanical engineer Konrad Schaad fabricates
the prototype waterproof Thermal Imaging camera housing.
Our system features the Thermal Eye 300D, a long-wave infrared video camera that is perfect for applications requiring high-resolution and real-time heat sensing. See how it works at the Thermal Eye site:
