The items
listed above comprise a complete turn-key system including all hardware and software.
Installation at the Imaging site requires approximately five hours by a
two person crew with
installation experience. Installation
of Repeater sites is approximately
four hours per site. The Receive site
can be installed in approximately two hours.
Installation time estimates are location-dependent, and in some cases more time is required.
Maintenance:
SeeMore Wildlife Systems has been developing robotic
systems since 1998. Since then system reliability has improved
dramatically. Our systems experience
some of the harshest
conditions in Alaska marine sites like Chiswell Island. Operations in Alaska marine locations like the Chiswell Islands
improved to 90% uptime in 2001 (365 days/year), and are at 100% for 2002. Operations in Arizona, California, Maine, Oregon, other areas in Alaska locations, and Denmark
closely track these figures. The systems work dependably and very little
maintenance is required…
